PROJECTS

CREATE

The CREATE Pharmacogenetic Research Network (Comprehensive Research on Expressed Alleles in the Therapeutic Evaluation) is part of the larger Pharmacogenetics Research Network (PGRN), funded by the National Institute for General Medical Sciences, an Institute within the NIH.  Primarily housed (research and administratively) at the University of North Carolina at Chape Hill, The CREATE network brings together infrastructure for the evaluation of pathways regulating drug activity, and is being achieved through the coordinated efforts of investigators from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Washington University in St. Louis, and the University of California-San Francisco.  These investigators have expertise in the fields of genomics, pharmacogenetics, clinical pharmacology, bioinformatics/computational biology, molecular genetics, statistical genetics, population genetics, clinical trials, and translational research.
